Twin City Tigers Cheer Information

Welcome to the 2026 Twin City Tigers Cheer season! We are excited to have our cheerleaders back on the field supporting Tigers football. Please review the information below for cost, uniform details, practice information, game day expectations, and important season dates.

Cost

Cheer: $100
Grades: K–8th Grade

Cheerleaders are responsible for providing:

  • White shoes

  • Black shirt and black shorts to wear under the game uniform

Twin City Tigers provides:

  • Cheer uniform, Pom Poms & Hair Bow


Game Information

Cheerleaders will cheer at tackle games. There will be no flag cheer.

Cheerleaders will be assigned to a team and will not need to be at every game on game days. Coaches will request team preferences.

Cheer Practice Information

First Practice: Tuesday, July 28, 2026
Practice Days: Tuesday and Thursday
Time: 5:30–7:15 PM
Location: One Normal Plaza, Normal
Cheer will practice next to the Normal Community Activity Center.

Cheerleaders should bring:

  • Water bottle

  • Gym clothes

  • Tennis shoes

We are flexible if your cheerleader has other activities. Please let the coaches know.

Practice times will end earlier as the season progresses due to darkness.


Dates to Remember

Optional Uniform Pickup

Date Options:
Friday, July 17, 2026 — 5:30–7:30 PM
or
Saturday, July 18, 2026 — 8:00–10:00 AM

Location: Normal Community Activity Center

Uniforms will be fitted during practice if athletes are unable to make uniform fitting

Parent Meeting

Date: TBD
The parent meeting will be held during the first week of practice.

More details will be shared closer to the start of the season.

First Game

Date: Saturday, August 15, 2026

Flag football will start at approximately 9:00 AM, followed by Bantams, Juniors, Rookies, JV, and Varsity.

Games last longer as the levels get higher, typically 60–90 minutes each.

Cheerleaders will be divided by team and will not cheer for every game. The cheer coach will share team assignments and arrival times.
